Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 5-year strategic technology roadmap aligned with market evolution
- Research emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI reviews
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
