This position reports directly to the Chief Innovation Officer and includes executive-level exposure and competitive equity packages.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for technology adoption through 2026, aligning with global market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech interfaces) for commercial viability
- Develop cross-functional implementation roadmaps for scalable technology integration
- Present technology strategies to stakeholders including investors, board members, and government agencies
- Manage a $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Partner with academic institutions and think tanks to shape future tech policy discourse
- Build and lead a high-performing team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating them to business value
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (whitepapers, patents, or industry journals)
- Experience managing global teams and cross-border technology initiatives
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks and innovation methodologies
