Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate futuristic innovations into existing product ecosystems
- Present strategic briefings to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia for technology scouting
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and strategic positioning
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred
- 12+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with $10M+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., generative AI, Web3, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
