Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to translate vision into actionable innovation initiatives
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage innovation pilot programs from concept to market validation with $5M+ annual budgets
- Build and lead a high-performing team of futurists and technical specialists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of launching transformative products/services with measurable market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale innovation projects
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFIP) preferred
