- Lead market analysis of emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with 10-year business strategy
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget across 15+ R&D initiatives
- Establish strategic alliances with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA for cutting-edge research
- Present tech forecasts to Fortune 100 clients and government agencies
- Mentor a team of 12 PhD-level researchers and innovation specialists
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies with 200+ filings since 2020
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Experience securing government grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate partnerships
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional executive communication skills with Fortune 500 experience
- Portfolio of 5+ commercialized technologies or patents
