Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies including AI ethics frameworks and decentralized systems
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend forecasting in emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for emerging technologies
- Monitor global tech policy developments and their strategic implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, IoT
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Certifications in technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Technology Review)
