Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and circular economy technologies
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic acquisition or partnership opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board of directors and investors
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and ROI for experimental projects
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects
- Secure and manage innovation grants and venture capital funding for frontier technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital with a focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation management
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Strong network with tech VCs, academic institutions, and industry consortia
