Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3 infrastructure) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech initiatives into annual planning cycles
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members through compelling data narratives
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Establish KPIs for future-tech adoption and track ROI on innovation portfolios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management with Fortune 500/SaaS experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-disrupting products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, or biotech convergence)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or innovation management
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing R&D pipelines
