Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap focusing on AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for futuristic technologies in partnership with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Build and mentor an innovation team of futurists, data scientists, and industry disruptors
- Publish thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum and Nature Futures journal
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $50M+ market impact
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies from Tier 1 institution
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or conference proceedings
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from APF or WFS
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for experimental research
