Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps spanning 2024-2026 with emphasis on AI ethics, quantum computing integration, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities and competitive threats
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory shifts in autonomous systems and biotechnology
- Partner with product teams to align technology strategy with market expansion goals
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for future-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists and build internal tech foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on 3-5 year roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or blockchain 3.0
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience leading cross-continental teams across 5+ time zones
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within IEEE, ACM, or similar professional organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused tech initiatives
