Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry forecasts and market trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in next-gen tech (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate strategic concepts
- Present technology strategies to executive leadership and investor boards
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track ROI on emerging tech investments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems, neuromorphic engineering
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong background in agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry conferences
