Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year technology roadmaps for 2026+ ecosystem integration
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Develop predictive market models for technology adoption and disruption
- Present technology blueprints to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation architects
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through white papers and business cases
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching products using future-facing technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, space tech, climate modeling, or biotechnology
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Go preferred)
