Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future technologies into 18-24 month development cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through continuous research
- Drive innovation workshops and cross-functional technology adoption initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation
