Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Architect innovation ecosystems bridging emerging tech with real-world applications
- Present strategic roadmaps and impact assessments to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers in rapid prototyping cycles
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Engineering (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future-tech implications
- Experience scaling global innovation programs across $1B+ enterprises
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, Scenario Planning)
