As our Future Technology Strategist, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, industry disruptors, and government futurists to translate speculative concepts into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology foresight frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Identify and prioritize emerging tech opportunities with $50M+ potential impact
- Architect ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neuro-interfaces
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on joint research initiatives
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation incubator budget for speculative R&D
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Published thought leadership in technology futures (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network with global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
