Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and market forecasting for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through grant applications and partnership pitches
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal incubation programs
- Author thought leadership published in IEEE Spectrum and MIT Tech Review
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record scaling tech products from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or synthetic biology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience securing federal grants and corporate innovation funding
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Validated ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
