Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with commercial viability analysis
- Develop patent strategies and IP protection frameworks for breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor technical teams in future-proof system architecture principles
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching transformative tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, bio-engineering, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning
