Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026-2030 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints in quantum AI, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and other future-focused institutions
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through proof-of-concept projects and pilot programs
- Present quarterly technology forecasts to the board with actionable recommendations
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and technologists across three innovation hubs
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through visionary proposals and stakeholder alignment
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futuristics (required)
- 15+ years experience in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech applications (3+ papers)
- Proven track record of launching billion-dollar technology platforms
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive narratives
