Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech innovations
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough inventions in sustainable tech
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford Future Institute on research initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists through our Innovation Incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products or platforms
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding or technology investments
