Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech initiatives into core business strategy
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects in quantum, AI, and sustainable technology domains
- Represent the company at global tech foresight forums and industry consortiums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adopting future-thinking methodologies
- Produce annual technology impact assessments and scenario planning reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on disruptive tech trends
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience developing long-term innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
