Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and prioritize R&D initiatives
- Create strategic roadmaps and implementation plans for technology adoption
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to stay ahead of technological curves
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory developments impacting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech fields
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technology products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotechnology integration
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Certifications in strategic management or emerging technologies preferred
