- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies and agile innovation processes
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for 2026 technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3, sustainable tech)
- Proven track record of executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in leading cross-functional innovation teams (50+ members)
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Strong financial acumen for R&D budget management ($50M+ scale)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
