Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable innovation frameworks
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate next-gen solutions (neural interfaces, biocompatible wearables)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for emerging technologies
- Present technology visions to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Forecast market disruptions and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Mentor R&D teams in agile methodologies for long-term technology development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFS from APF) or Technology Foresight
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Published research or keynote presentations at TechCrunch Disrupt, CES, or similar
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience securing $10M+ in technology innovation funding
