Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and competitive analysis
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R consortia
- Establish KPI frameworks for tracking technology adoption and ROI
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or biotech
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CTO Academy, INSEAD Tech Strategy)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
