Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and ROI of future-tech initiatives
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs on collaborative R&D projects
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology futures and market disruption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling innovative solutions from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or industry disruption
