Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems) and assess commercial viability
- Architect innovation frameworks for R&D pipeline prioritization and prototyping initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and manage a global network of technology futurists and academic partners
- Drive adoption of forward-thinking methodologies across engineering and product teams
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports for stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies or launching future-oriented products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry forums
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Studies
