Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, biotech, fusion energy)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Partner with VCs and startups to build strategic innovation ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum applications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in scaling innovative products from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, nanotech, neurotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience with government innovation initiatives (e.g., DARPA, ARPA-E)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting
