Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Develop patentable innovation frameworks and incubate breakthrough prototypes
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage technology partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Oversee budget allocation for experimental technology initiatives
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies in long-term planning cycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of scaling from prototype to market-ready solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience with futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences and investor relations
- Portfolio of published research, patents, or industry thought leadership
