Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the creation and execution of a multi-year technology roadmap specifically focused on milestones and innovations leading up to 2026.
- Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor global technology trends, including AI, Quantum Computing, and Biotech, to identify strategic opportunities for disruption.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Marketing) to translate high-level strategy into actionable technical initiatives.
- Feasibility Assessment: Conduct rigorous research and prototyping to assess the viability of emerging technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitor technology strategies to ensure Apex Future Labs maintains a first-mover advantage in the 2026 landscape.
- Investment Strategy: Guide the CTO in allocating R&D budget towards high-impact technologies for the 2026 horizon.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, management consulting, or R&D leadership.
- Future-Forward Thinking: Demonstrated ability to forecast technological shifts and translate them into business value.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Architecture, and emerging web technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
