Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and implementing emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and prioritize disruptive innovations through market analysis and competitor intelligence
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the executive board
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with $5M+ budgets
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
- Mentor a team of 5 technology analysts and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite advisory roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- MBA or equivalent from top-tier institution; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy (Harvard/MIT/Stanford)
- Experience with Fortune 500 digital transformation initiatives
- Strong network in Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
