Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for global enterprise clients
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at Davos-level forums
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and innovation architects
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness across organizational functions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex concepts
- Published author or recognized thought leader in futurism/innovation
- Experience with scenario modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi methods)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
