Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to inform 5-10 year strategic plans
- Develop scenario-based forecasts and innovation roadmaps for core business units
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready concepts into development pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and present insights to industry stakeholders
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
- Advise leadership on disruptive threats and opportunities across global markets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful business outcomes
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and innovation strategy projects
