Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-year strategic impact assessments
- Design and execute innovation roadmaps for 2026 product ecosystems
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future trends into corporate strategy
- Manage cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping teams
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property frameworks
- Present foresight insights to global stakeholders at industry summits
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward agile innovation adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend forecasting and commercialization success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and risk modeling methodologies
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures journals
