Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and translate insights into 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for 2026+ market shifts and technological disruptions
- Design innovation frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for future workforce and societal needs
- Develop competitive advantage strategies by anticipating regulatory and ethical landscape changes
- Present strategic foresight to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of influencing C-level decisions with future-oriented insights
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, patents, books)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Experience with scenario modeling tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation implementations based on foresight
