Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop predictive market models identifying 2026+ disruption vectors
- Design strategic innovation frameworks for C-suite executives
- Produce forward-looking white papers and scenario planning reports
- Facilitate cross-industry futures workshops with global stakeholders
- Build and maintain proprietary foresight technology platforms
- Advvent venture capital portfolio on emerging exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep technical understanding of emerging technologies' commercial implications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on future-proofing strategies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex future scenarios
