Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to map 5-10 year strategic implications
- Develop corporate foresight frameworks and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with tech focus
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight programs
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in enterprise environments
- Portfolio of published futurist work or industry impact cases
