Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and societal trends to map 2026 innovation landscapes
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for R&D investments and product development
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Publish thought leadership reports and represent the company at global forums
- Build cross-functional coalitions to execute strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with tech focus
- Proven track record in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, advanced AI, or neurotech
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Physics, Computer Science, Economics, etc.)
- Experience leading global teams and cross-cultural projects
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains
