Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts with transformative potential
- Develop and communicate long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market opportunities
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into strategic planning and product development
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Deliver compelling narratives and data-driven insights through executive briefings and thought leadership platforms
- Champion human-centered design principles while evaluating disruptive technologies
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against strategic milestones
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Advanced degree in technology, business, futures studies, or related field
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-oriented strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, or climate tech
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into actionable frameworks
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology, or innovation (articles, books, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology maturity assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from foresight initiatives
