Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate design-thinking workshops with stakeholders to prototype future-focused solutions
- Produce actionable foresight reports on AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech trends
- Build and manage a global network of innovation partners, startups, and research institutions
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in the 2026-2030 timeframe
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing pilot projects for future-ready products/services
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation initiatives
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP, WFS) preferred
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic innovation projects with measurable impact
