Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive market forces
- Develop predictive scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovative product/service blueprints
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing business models and organizational structures
- Author thought leadership publications and trend briefs for industry influence
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to embed futurism into corporate DNA
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption vectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) strongly preferred
