Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum, AI, biotech, metaverse) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps
- Design future-proof business models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario planning for C-suite stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario planning skills
- Experience with strategic foresight frameworks (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or innovation patents
