This hybrid role offers unparalleled access to our Austin R&D campus and global innovation network. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, Silicon Valley pioneers, and government futurists to build the future's foundational technologies.
Responsibilities
- Forecast technological disruptions and market shifts through 2030 using horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing integration in enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping AI ethics frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and incubate breakthrough startups
- Present trend analyses to C-suite executives and government innovation committees
- Design predictive models for climate-tech convergence and sustainable infrastructure
- Author thought leadership publications in partnership with MIT Media Lab
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in innovation strategy with Fortune 500 or Big Tech
- Published work on technological singularity or exponential technologies
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, TrendWatching)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience designing foresight methodologies for public sector clients
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in Spanish for Latin America market expansion
