Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
- Author thought leadership publications and industry keynote presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating technological foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, climate tech, or biotech)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- C-suite communication and executive influence skills
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology domains
