Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for climate tech, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs to commercialize breakthrough discoveries
- Present executive briefings on disruptive technologies and their market implications
- Build a global network of futurists, VCs, and industry disruptors
- Author white papers on emerging paradigms in quantum computing and neurotech
- Oversee $2M+ innovation budget for pilot projects in smart cities and circular economies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Shell Foresight, Delphi Method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies and competitive intelligence systems
- Experience leading teams in agile/lean innovation environments
