Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to map 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present future-vision narratives to investors, clients, and industry stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI of experimental projects
- Curate partnerships with startups, research institutions, and thought leaders
- Anticipate disruptive threats and recommend agile mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurism with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology forecasting
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in innovation, technology, or future studies
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CIMP) highly valued
