Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends impacting our industry by 2026
- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders
- Create strategic roadmaps for integrating breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 targets
- Present strategic foresight insights to board members and external investors
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their business applications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, MBA, or related field
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
