Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026+ impact
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for technological disruptions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster collaborative ideation and solution prototyping
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and boards with compelling data visualizations
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of innovation partners, startups, and academic institutions
- Monitor global patent landscapes and competitive intelligence for emerging tech domains
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends and developing strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their commercial applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, startups, research institutions)
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist methodologies and strategic frameworks
