Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for autonomous systems and sustainable resource allocation
- Author strategic whitepapers on future-proofing business models in volatile markets
- Advise executive leadership on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify strategic partnerships and acquisition targets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Strong data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Impact Assessment
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech implications
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams in agile environments
