Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts relevant to 2026+ landscapes
- Design strategic foresight methodologies including trend mapping, scenario planning, and weak signal analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into innovation roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Author executive-level trend reports and predictive models with 3-5 year forecasting horizons
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven scenario analysis and risk assessment
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Strong analytical background with proficiency in data visualization and predictive modeling tools
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
