Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives, analyzing trends in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI governance
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for exponential technology adoption and ethical deployment
- Present strategic futures to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including UN Technology Council
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget, allocating resources to high-impact moonshot projects
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists, fostering a culture of radical curiosity
- Publish thought leadership in top-tier journals and represent FutureHorizon at Davos and World Economic Forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology R&D with proven 10-year track record
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Demonstrated success in scaling moonshot projects from concept to commercialization
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent rigorous methodology
- Experience working with Fortune 500 C-suite boards on transformational strategy
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures/innovation journals or equivalent thought leadership
- Ability to distill complex systems into actionable strategic imperatives
